EM Media co-financed feature Skeletons selected for new touring programme

Published: 19 February 2010

Film distributor Soda Pictures has announced a new touring programme called New British Cinema Quarterly (NBCQ), which will showcase the work of four British filmmakers with distinctive and original films selected from the UK’s major film festivals.

As part of the NBCQ offer Skeletons will screen at a minimum of 15 partner venues across the UK accompanied by a Q&A from the director Nick Whitfield or associated talent.

All the films selected for NBCQ will be released individually on DVD and at the end of the year all will be included in a box set alongside the New British Cinema Annual: a publication of opinions and analysis encompassing the full spectrum of British cinema in 2010.

The other films to be selected for NBCQ are 1234 directed by Giles Borg, No Greater Love directed by Michael Whyte and a final film to be selected from this year’s forthcoming festivals.

The programme has been developed by Soda Pictures with exhibition partners including Curzon Cinemas, City Screen and the ICO, digital cinema partners Motion Picture Solutions and is supported by media partner Little White Lies magazine.
